Bill Harrison worked as a newspaper reporter, technical writer, and copy editor in Boston, Massachusetts. “As a kid I had an affection for words, I was an English major in college and that led me to my career in newspapers.”

A: Friends, family, and Boston accents.

Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people
A: Do onto others; the Golden Rule of treating others as one’s self would wish to be treated.

Q:What is your favorite thing or something unique about Sarasota?
A: The blending of old Florida with the new.

Q: What current local business makes you the most nostalgic about Sarasota?
A: The Mote Marine Aquarium.

Q: If you had a full-time staff member that was fully paid for, who would you choose?
A: A traditional English gentleman’s gentleman, like Mr. French (Sebastian Cabot) from Family Affair.

Q:Choose anyone alive and a non relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? Where in Sarasota would you have lunch?A: Elizabeth Hurley. Why not and at the Casey Key Fish House.

Q: What is your favorite movie you remember seeing in a theater.
A: Boy…Slapshot! With Paul Newman, that was the best sports movie.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: Being a musician…playing overseas in Europe.

Q: What is your favorite music/ 3 bands you would like to see (past or present)?
A: Elvis-The Beatles-Patsy Cline.
